There is a part in Brets book that makes me LOL a lot.Jim Neidhart accused of messing with the family cat when all along Smith was teasing,Jim and Ellie first met and Bret mentioned to someone that it was Smith no Jim who stuck his finger up the cats ass(butt).

That's why undertaker told shawn he would put him in the hospital if he screwed austin out of the title at wrestlemania. You should read it. The Rude/Warrior stuff is damn good too.

These are out of order but you can only put up so much in a comment. Bret and Mick were friends. You could see that in Wrestling with shadows. Foley quit wwe after survivor series, but went back.

He actually had drinks with the boys in 1999 and even got along with hhh since taker austin and others were there. At that time austin ran wwf and was a big fan of bret (along with rock). But he blames hhh for taking over wrestling by marrying into the mcmahon family and if you happen to read about shawn telling him that he wouldn't return the favor after bret told him that despite their differences he would do a job to him... you understand why he didn't get along with shawn.

On the night of the montreal screwjob, undertaker was essentially bret's enforcer and actually got vince (who was locked in his office) to come out to apologize. Weeks later, taker called bret and told him that he "got it right from vince, that little c*** shawn was in on it." There are alot of stories, bret talks very highly about taker and rude, perfect and many others.

He wanted to drop the title to StoneCold, not Shawn. Shawn had refused to drop it to Austin at WM 14 until Vince made him do it at the last minute. Bret and Austin are good friends

Yeah, Taker and him are good friends, and it was Taker that made Vince come out his office in M ontreal or Taker was gonna kick his door in and beat his ass...he also called Shawn a cunt

I just had a thought. I have 2 copies of Brets book. One I read and one I am saving to get his autograph. If you want...I will send you my used copy. The only catch will be that whn you are done, you must send it to another. I know the USA fans didnt get to read it. Or it wasnt released in the USA. Yes, he and Mick got along and Bret was very surprised and impressed by his matches with Mick. He complemented Micks skill to be so violent and at the same time not leave a mark on your body. Bret always resepcted the guys who did not hurt you.
