  • The solution to your problem: either move your entire iPhoto library to an external hard drive, or get Aperture.

    iPhoto necessarily imports images into it's own library. You can move that library in it's entirety to any drive, or you could even create a new library (as many as you'd like, but that gets messy) by holding down option as you start up iPhoto.

  • Hey bro! Ur videos are clear and simple to follow..My gf had been all over my mac that she had like 10 or more duplicated albums from all kinds of events!. Shes makin me nuts! So i searched on utube for answers and here voila!!! Ur video is the answer to this chaotic world of pictures... I cant thank you enough how u made it so simple.   • I went on a holiday to the US, and would like my pictures to be in subfolders. Each subfolder should be 1 day of pictures. How can I do this? So How can I create subfolders?

  • when i import photos it dumps the files on to the main HHD how can i leave everything on my second hard drive?? and browse it in iphoto??? basically not clogging the main HHD????? tx.
