Martial Arts Exhibition - Risør, Norway July 8th 2000

This is demonstration of several martial arts. Capoeira with Jakob Sucksdorff and his group from Denmark, Johan Skålberg with Kali Sikaran/Suntukan Stickfigthing, Mouliko Halèn with Aikido, Dan Docherty with Wudang Tai Chi Chuan and Soke Yamaue with Aiki-Jutsu.

he means capoeira and he's right: it was developed by african slaves in brazil. comes from south america, was developed in south america, made by africans. read up on it.

Does this stuff have any real world value or is it completely for show. It shows him blocking knife attacks and while it looks cool, would real experts use these methods in a real knife attack in a dark alley?

Hasselberg666 In all sorts of Combat sports you mostly are under NO Circumstances allowed to use what you have learned for normal life stuff.... But i do agree a bit with you that they're training must be akward :P
