use kaim ass the main attacker
have jansen use flare all the time
and seth use healing herbs or attack if you can

Note: try to kkep all your party over 250 HP because he has a special attack (Down Burst) that will kill party members quickly

the item i used at the start with kaim was a flame bomb found on the field before hand, if you dont have one dont worry

no you just need to play defensively

and make sure you heal

This was real easy to beat.

I placed Kaim in front row and the other 2 in the back. I kept telling Jensen to use Flare and equipped Kaim with a Flame Ring and used Seth to keep healing. I beat Grilgan very easily to be honest in a few minutes.

How do you get to level 14 this early in the game?? I have had a few random encounters and am level 10 .. If your gonna tell me I have to go and level up in random battles just to fight this guy then I am taking this game back tomorrow. What a rubbish system :-(
