Glad I read these comments...Thinkin I'll stay away from this Heli...but happy with the other 3 E-flites I have

I had the same problem. I unplugged the motor, slightly pinched the male end and it has worked fine for several dozen flights. It must have been a poor fitting plug
-
mine was working fine under perfect flight nice controlled all of a sudden i take it out to fly it and the tail motor doesn't spin at all. even on throttle full. junk tail motors. need to recalll, horizon hobby!
-
the Motor must have overheated and burned out
-
had a gust of wind come along and mine hit the house tail first then fell to ground tail first got parts for it and put it together but the tail motor is broken it still spins but the hei just spins to the right uncontrolibly
-
i dont think the motors failed, it most likely an internal break in the wire, same thing happened to me, ya just gotta re-solder the wire.
-
My motor failed to after 5 flights i held the wire then it worked. So i put a small zip tie around wires and boom/motor now it works!
-
Same problem I had, and a new tail motor didn't fix the problem for me. Don't buy it.
-
I received mine today and rotor failed in 3rd flight..
It seems related to the connector as touching it makes the tail motor to work or dont..
Should i contact support or try to fix the connector?

I have same problem with mine. Look at the connection between the motor and the bom. There was my problem. A bad soldering.
My 120 SR tail motor failed after about 7-8 flights. Replaced it & so far so good.
This is a common problem from what I`ve seen. Shame, cause it`s a sweet
model otherwise.

Loving my 120SR. I have about 15 battery packs through it and have not had a problem. Works good outside and with some space can be flown indoors without a problem. At the hobbyshop I work at we have sold many of these and not one has come back with problems.

@Shawn041 Yes, I would expect that.. I think I just had very bad luck.. the replacement motor is going strong after over 200 flights
