The McKinleys - Someone Cares For Me (1964)

One of my favorite girl group records. The McKinleys were two sisters, Sheila and Jeanette, from Edinburgh, Scotland. Did not chart nationally, but charted at #40 on the WHYN 560 AM radio survey in Springfield, Massachusetts in mid-1964, and #39 on the KQV 1410 AM radio survey in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

B-side is "Million Miles Away".

They performed a lot in Germany and both became very successful here in the 70s. Sheila (left) as a member of THE LES HUMPHRIES SINGERS (singing lead on many tracks) and Jeanny as part of the duo THE WINDOWS !
