How to knit if you only have the use of one hand, in this case the left. This video was intended as a reminder for someone who requested lessons, so shows knitting, purling and switching between. The video is clear, and I used large needles (9mm) and thick yarn - which made demonstrating easier, the technique would work with finer needles and yarn, but does require two straight needles (or dpns and a knitting belt or sheath).
Thank you.

I wish I knew this technique when my mother was living. She had Cerebral Palsy and a withered hand. When I learned to crochet, she really wanted to learn too. She tried, but could not grip the yarn enough to form stitches. She did sew beautiful baby quilts and made dolls and stuffed toys.
