Horse for sale from Lauman Training, located in the heart of Oregon, Prineville to be exact! Melody is, as her name implies a joy to own and ride. She has the training and the experience to take you to the top of a mountain or to the top of a competition. She has competed on a drill team for two years, knows her job and loves it. Melody also competed in barrel racing, pole bending and other gymkhana events. She is a sure footed trail horse, that will go anywhere, over anything and does it all with grace and style! She gets along with other horses well and isn't marish. She was brought to Lauman Training a few months ago to start her in Cowboy Mounted Shooting. She has taken to the shooting like a duck takes to water! She stays level headed and listens as she runs the course not at all phased by the gun fire! She loves to run but is easy to handle and you can walk, trot, slow lope or run like mad! If you are just getting started in shooting and need a horse that won't fight you when you need them to rate back, she can do it! Then as you get faster she will too! She has competed at two shoots so far and placed in the top 5 overall at both. Melody isn't hot, she is always listening and responding to subtle cues. She works well off your leg, neck reins, side passes, etc. She is very solid, great at hauling, handles new places just like being at home! She isn't spooky, and can handle dogs, kids, traffic and anything else you can throw at her! We have thoroughly enjoyed this mare and trust that you will as well!

I've watched lot of yourvideos, and love your work!!! the horse's allseem so well mannered when you are done with them. I plan on adopting a mustang in a couple of years, told my husband that when I am ready, i want you and your husband to train it for me...he's not a horse person, but was very impressed with the way you handle them, especially the mustangs.

@laumantr I am hopeing to one day have a horse ranch of my own where i can help teenage girls who have been abused 'get back in the saddle' so to speak as far as their lives are concerned. I <3 horses! :)
