As for installing them, you just have to copy them to your Quake3 BaseQ3 Maps folder, and they'll be automatically detected by the Defrag mod. Careful though, there's a limit to how many maps the game can detect. So you need a repacker. I think that's what it's called; haven't used it in a while.

@TheTyrrr Omg, sorry for the late reply, i must've missed your comment.

Problem is I configured my hud way back in 2005, so I really don't remember the options there :D But I do remember spending a great deal of time setting it in a way that works for me. You can see it has all the newbie info on it for better strafing.

I`m still playing the way I did back in the day. Nowadays I don't need all the info there, I know how to strafe. But i'm too lazy to reconfigure it :D
