@freeadplanet Atheism and Theism go to belief, not knowledge. Agnosticism and Gnosticism go to knowledge. I can't force myself to believe, I just don't see any evidence, but on the same hand I don't know for sure that there isn't and I maintain an open mind. Since I don't believe and I don't know, I am an Agnostic Atheist. Atheism isn't a position on its own, but a response to the positions of others. As an intellectually honest person all I can say is "I don't know"

@MetaBob Alan Watts was NOT an Atheist. In fact he mentioned Atheist in one of his lectures as people missing the point entirely. If you BELIEVE that there is NO GOD, this means that you acknowledged God as not existing. This is like saying, I do not believe there is a glass of milk in the next room, when others say there is. You can either KNOW or NOT KNOW. You can not have it both ways. Atheists logic is not rationale. In programming terms we call this divide by ZERO error.
