I heard Ringo road test the early embryonic version of this song in one of his "All-Star" concerts. I must say that your stripped-down,acoustic guitar rendition lends a certain honesty and integrety lacking in his version. As it is indeed a true story song I feel it is best performed in the manner of your presentation here without slickness. Pure,honest and straightforward...all at the disposal of your angelic vocalizing and fine strumming. It can't be beat.
