Background: Takiko has always loved Ōsugi but he loves her like a daughter. Nevertheless she continued loving him from afar. One day she meets her childhood friend Uruki, their personalities clashed but they find themselves falling in love. Meanwhile she befriends Tomite who also falls in love with her.
MV Starts
After Takiko+Uruki declare their love, Uruki starts to distance himself. He leaves her with Ōsugi , who's always been there for her. But she realises she loves Uruki more than she loved Ōsugi, so she is finally says goodbye.
Tomite continues supporting her and fall even deeper in love with her. But she sees him only as a brother. This fustrates Tomite and he tries to kiss her but realises her heart belongs to Uruki.
She returns home and over time she grows close to Oikawa who has always loved her. She eventually agrees to marry him even though she still loves Uruki. So she visits Uruki one last time and reminisces about the past, but a Uruki tells her to go back.
Later a dying Uruki (still in love with Takiko) hurries to see his Takiko one last time....
