Little known fact to most but the 455 Buick motor was by a wide margin the hottest shit GM ever put out in a production car. The stock GSX motor was just an orgy of torque, factory rated @ 510 ft lbs. Take away some of the two tons that a 70 skylark weighs, add forced induction and you have a recipe for domination.
