@themaxster100 fear and resolution of the fear....goes back to the origens of western theater....terror and rescue the greek word is catharsis. the last vingette is meant to leave you with an endorphin high and the feeling of an emotional experiance....that you will buy another ticket for or tell your friends...but also, it is good art.
it is supposed to engage your feelings.....other people get the same joy from mathamatics or a good chess game but i am running out of characters

This is my favorite fantasia part. I think it was the last because it was the best. There is so many life messages in this one. Life goes on after destruction. Nature is always resilient and blossoms even stronger after such devastation. You can pull a lot of messages from this one. It is absolutely stunning.

@SadSadLifeofBob Right? And i watched it when i was like 5. It was so beautiful to me in the beginning and then came a silent part, and before you know it - BOOM! I watched it only once. I wonder why...

I wonder how you can see this as symbolizing "Global Warming"? It's a volcano, it's fire. It's another form of nature. I think this symbolizes something completely different than the "evil" of man and machine. I think it symbolizes a few things. Life after death, perhaps. How something beautiful can still grow from something that has been devastated. No, I don't see how the Firebird is the evil humans destroying the planet. It's the course of nature, rebirth of life after fire and death.
