Sailing Results System Tutorial

The Race Results System is a free MS-DOS program that takes the hassle out of calculating the results for a dinghy sailing race. The program uses the RYA Portsmouth Yardstick (PY) scheme and works on the following platforms: Windows 3.1/95/98/NT/2000/XP/Vista and OS/2 or any system capable of running DOS programs. Handicap Tables. Features: Free Easy and straight forward to use Small, efficient and will run on the most basic hardware Automatic handicap completion for most classes Countdown menu with 5 and 1 minute options (start time automatically recorded) Supports Average Lap Races 'TimeSheet' for assistance noting finishing times simply by pressing the space bar Supports up to 200 Competitors Shows the time difference between adjacent results/finishers Fast: a minimum of sail no., class and finishing time are needed to produce results. Results can be exported as HTML for the web, or CSV for use with other applications Supports the latest RYA handicap system.
