The polaris is so fast because it's a 2-stroke, and 2-strokes are known to be considerably faster than 4-strokes.

To put it simply, a 400cc 2stroke is comparible to a 800cc 4stroke.

I have a Polaris Trail boss 350 2-sroke, let me assure you that this particular polaris has a 2-stroke 400cc engine (their biggest 2 stroke)

the polaris is so fast, because rincon's are not ment to be raced.. there ment for smooth and medium speed, and they are quite fast, i got a 649 up to 67mph in a feild less than that, you must be doing something wrong.
