17 km South of Townsville, Bruce Highway, Nome, Queensland, Australia, the Billabong sanctuary : a wildlife park of australian native animals (Crocodiles, Koalas, Kangaroos, Wallabies, Snakes, lizards, Wombat, Dingos, Cassowaries, Parrots & Birds) but In February 2011 Billabong Sanctuary suffered major damage from Cyclone Yasi, and is closed to the public for now (march 2011) . they are cleaning up and rebuilding, and plan to re-open by Easter (2011). "

A 17 kilomètres au sud de Townsville, à Nome sur la route Bruce, dans le Queensland en Australie, le parc animalier sanctuaire Billabong avec une faune australienne (crocodiles, koalas, kangourous, serpents, wombat, oiseaux, dingos, Casoars). En février 2011, le parc Billabong a été endommagé par le cyclone tropical Yasi, et est fermé pour le nettoyer et le reconstruire (mars 2011). Sa réouverture est prévue pour Pâques (2011).
