*ATTENTION* Sorry for the short elevator part, the battery died at the end, but the doors were open and would not close so you get the idea. The doors are stuck open. Ok so the escalator was broken or just preventive maintenance. But I saw the schindler van in the parking lot. I thought the elevator was broken and they were working on it. But it was the escalator. Then they left later on, the escalator was still apart. % minuets after they leave the elevator gets stuck with the doors open. Sears has bad luck.

  • You should have demanded a ride on the freight elevator. I know Macy's offers that kind of service.

  • @suzzex well my battery died so thats why the elevator part was so short, and that means I wouldnt get a video of the freight even if I rode it.

  • @johnrcoben Ha ha, how both can break down? :D

  • @dickcheney6 they should have turned off the up one and let people walk up or down. The problem is these are the very small escalators that are single file only and if somone was trying to come down and someone was trying to go up there would be a problem.

  • @patricknedz If there's no "public" non-alarmed staircase, the service company should NOT NOT NOT EVER take both escalators apart at the same time! They should take one apart, then stop the other one to allow people to simply walk up and down, in case a power outage occurs!

If I were "trapped" upstairs like that I would just go out the emergency exit-the alarms on those doors are just local sirens they don't call the fire department

  • A broken elevator and escalator... someone call the news station

  • So is there now no way to get to the 2nd floor? or is it in a mall? I'd hate to be upstairs when the elevator broke while the escalator taken apart! if the escalator were simply not functional, you could just WALK up/down

  • @patricknedz yup your right, Fire code requires stairs to be in place in the event of a fire or other disaster.

  • @an65001 there are stairs but for fire use only, it will set off the alarm

  • @tigredelnorte19 There ARE no stairs retard!

  • take the stairs u stupid lazy fuck!
