WEll how cool is that!!! So the cuttlebug cuts those strips?? I've not see any plates that big to cut I just got my first cuttlebug for xmas. Yippee and it would be cool to make something like this. But I've never seen much at Michaels. and thats really the only "craft" store around here others are just scrapbook.. I don't have anything to even start with, but I'm hoping it comes in some kind of kit.. and then I'll have to find the folders for the cutttlebug plus the longer mats things
I have found if you do 2 strips of the last row , glue them togeather staggered so the gaps are filled in..you dont end up with gaps in your finished flower petals.
If I might suggest that you roll your paper flower toward the quilling tool, therefore the petals are not hitting your fingers. It is much quicker to glue all of the strips together then roll up, this is especially easy if your petals are away from your fingers.
Thanks so much for showing the entire process!! It really helps someone like me who needs a visual in order to 'get it' :) I had no idea these quilling dies were available for the Cuttlebug---it's hard sometimes to keep up with everything all of these vendors come out with :)
