Apple vs Flash

Come on. Apple doesn't offer flash because they want to protect itunes and app sales. Flash would allow any website to offer similar offerings on the iphone and ipad without having to get Apple's approval. It's all about protecting their profits. They don't give a damn if it hurts your user experience.

@lucious1224 I'm sure there is partial truth to that, but I can't say that is the reason why Apple does not allow Flash. For instance, I have Rhapsody installed on my iPhone. I get unlimited access to songs and can download the music for free to my iPhone (with $10/mth sub). I would say that falls in your senario but Apple approved that app.

Adblock plus dude. And flash never crashes on my PC. Flash is one of the best things that ever happened to the internet. Take that away and it's just... html... meh

And this is why Android phones are being built as genuine iphone killers now, because they aren't neutered by Steve (the Hand) Jobs! Flash is great on my PC and the phone I played with too. Personally, I'm going with the Droid X. Sorry Steve, you're full of fail and its showing. Nice video here though.

@familybooja Exactly, google was better, and html5 is not event near flashs possibilies, thats the issue here, html5 is a piece of crap for now, and its going to be for next 5+ years, thats a fact, every developer knows that. Only blind steve fans think as their master says to them.

Apple is not using Flash because there hardware cant run it! Look at the specs the hardware is awesome for a computer made in 1998!

HTML 5 wont be working for 2 more years, so why buy crappy apple products, get a droid, or a HP slate and enjoy the internet as it is supposed to be seen today.

Its normal to phase out software, hell Steve just caned it 2 years before the next gen stuff will be ready

If ya think of it.. Certin websites need flash.. And when I'm on in important website and need flash it sucks.. I don't have a CPU or laptop sooo I suffer with not getting certin things done on the iPhone.. Maybe they should have it and have a button u can press that disables it humans should have an option ya think??
