It does appear that Michael Bradley is a head offsides on the free-kick that could have been the winner. Pause it at 3:21 right when Donovan strikes the ball. It's very close and hard to tell from this video.

Fantastic video. That call makes me angry to this day. It could have been any team; it's just the sheer stupidity of the call. Like the commentator rightly said: if anything, the Slovenian players were fouling the U.S. players. That one player wrapped his arms around Altidore!

I'm a US soccer supporter just because it think Howard fucked up here doesnt mean i dont like him, he's still my favorite Goalie.
And the Slovenian keeper flinched when Donovan kicked the ball 'cause he knew it was fucking Landon Donovan lol

@dirtybunny987 Man, why do Mexico fans have to come to every US soccer video and ruin the mood. Save the trash talk for US/Mex highlights. Plus, you can fault Howard only for being caught off the line on the first goal, but the Slovenian keeper flinched to allow Donovan's first in. Keepers are supposed to be fearless.

@dirtybunny987 He was caught off his line. Suspect positioning, but he was probably expecting someone to attempt to feed the ball through. However, he was off his line and Birsa chipped him magnificently. Even with the bad positioning, it was an amazing shot.
