The Karambek Restaurant in Samarkand is certainly the go to place for Sunday lunch. When we were there some of the locals celebrating a birthday just got up and started dancing. Afterwards they even gave us some cake.

"karam" means cabbage in uzbek., "bek" is like ending (suffix) for names, equivalent of "athan" in johnathan.

its not karambek.. Its KARIMBEK... person's name who opened these restaurants..
