Mario Golf GBC 18 holes 49 under par

A round in the Marion Club Tournament with 23 shots (49 under par) in Mario Golf for the Gameboy Color.

I used the save trick so I could play each hole as many times as I wanted to get a low score. The round was not recorded live; I captured the shots from the best shots menu and edited them into one video. You can see the scorecard for the round in the end of the video. This was done on a Gameboy cartridge so no emulator involved.

With the character I'm playing it is still possible to go lower. With some lucky wind on the par 5s I could get this down four shots to a score of 19 strokes, but I doubt I'll be trying anytime soon as this took a long time already.

August 2008 edit: I just noticed that my cartridge had reset itself so I lost all data that I had on the game pak including the character I used to achieve this score. I doubt I'll ever be bothered to grind myself another lvl 99 golfer, so this will probably be the lowest score I ever achieve. Please beat it and post a video link of your highscore here.

This isn't the tour. It's just a composition of all 18 holes. You can see this when taking a closer look at the power shot. Normally, you can use your power shot 6 times only. And this is shown on the board (bottom-left, after, right after the selected club). Here, it isn't. Therefore, he hasn't scored all those holes in a row.

Nevertheless a good performance, but I think, with a little practice, everyone can do this...

@donpatricio90 You are correct. Read the description under the video and you will see that I specifically said that I used the save trick to achieve this score. All holes were played in one tournament rounds, though.

I've gotten the -50. I'll try to get my hands on a GameBoy Player to make a video of the four albatrosses and the 5 holes in one the game stores. Also, my albatross on Hole 4 was a first attempt. :)

@extremesoul666 This video was done using a normal Game Boy Color and no cheats such as gameshark etc. If you read the description, I did however use the save trick so I was able to play each individual hole as many times as I wanted.
