Hey guess what I found out a little while ago...the newspapers and tv news actually reported rumors of looting rape and murder as fact.  IN FACT most of the looting was for necessary goods, which is of course understandable when you're in a life or death situation. FEMA actually did more to turn away outside help (help that wasn't specifically FEMA's) than they actually did to aid anyone. Mayor Daley offered a ton of help and was rejected by FEMA. What is that???
