Kjartan has written over 50 books, including stage musicals, puzzles, codes, astronomy, magic and most recently his new "Urgum the Axeman" novels. He is best known for his Murderous Maths series which have been translated into over 25 languages and is in use with teachers and home-schoolers throughout the world. He has also presented many maths and science programmes for BBC television, and in between writing he delivers his maths shows to theatres and schools wherever people can understand his strange Yorkshire accent.
