An art historian will be in Ludington this month to present a series about classical Greek and Roman art and architecture.
Dan Connolly presented a lecture series at the Ludington Area Center of the Arts last spring, an event that was so successful organizers decided to invite Connolly back for another series.
The new series began on July 1 with a discussion of the origins and early developments of Greek art, with an emphasis on the representation of the human body and the development of the Greek ritual temple designs.
The discussion series will continue for three more Wednesdays; Connolly will be back at the Center for the Arts on July 8, 15, and 22 at 7pm. The suggested donation to attend is $10.
