A bit rough and sloppy but here it is... recorded with a standard 'came with the computer' dell mic so sorry for the distortion. Please rate and subscribe if you like!
I can agree there.. there is definitely something missing with the clean, saying that, just after playing around with the settings you can get some impressive results!
I also like the small line 6 amps, they're really good for the size, money and quality! I'd recommend checking them out.
I previously tried the 70watt model and loved it - later on buying the 150.
and the finical side of things, yes, it is a very expensive habit if you want the best, let alone the mediocre.
No money for that at the moment at all. =( On top, I don't really like the clean sound of the Line 6. The distortion is sweet, but the clean ain't "warm" enough for my taste.
I thought only the guitar was connected to the computer and everything tone-/distortion-wise is added by the program and then comes out your speaker. I have no idea, haha. I'll have to read some more about it. However, if the amp is involved, then it wouldn't help, cause the Roland Microcube is the weak point in my "setup". ;)
Erm, i'm not actually sure so dont hold me to it but it is a program that allows you to mix your own tone as well as use other peoples sig tones.
Well, the computer is connected to the amp and i think the guitar is connected to the computer, so what ever you strum, play or pick, will go through the computer, through your custom tone setting and out the amp.
I'm not actually sure, but think it's something like that!
I've heard of it. Need to try that out. Do you record the "clean" / straight guitar signal then or how does that work? It took me like 2 years to realize THAT you could record with the computer AT ALL. lmao I've tried to record the electric with my camera, but the sound didn't come out how I wanted it...
I did wonder why i hadnt seen a video with you rocking out on electric :P
have you tried guitar rig 3? it is a program where you can plug your amp straight into your computer and use digital sounds through the amp, is actually very good!
It turned out really nice! You can still hear everything clearly. I tried recording my electric via line in/soundcard, but it comes out like shit... therefore all my covers are acoustic. lol

I guess I'll just need to sit down in a guitar shop sometime and try out all kinds of different amp. :D

lol! well, it would make sense to have the output through the speakers, but like i said, i'm not sure.
Microcube hell! the small amps are really quite bad imo, get a line 6 150!
Hope you find your right tone soon! :)
