I'm a bruins fan too, but McQuaid clearly turns his back. Sometimes you have to just take the hit and not turn away from it. Now he's out for who knows how long, with a history of concussions, you might not see him until 2012-2013 season. You can take 50 strides and hit someone, as long as it's clean the number of strides you take to hit someone doesn't mean anything. with a "hockey production" username you'd figure you'd know a little more about hockey.

Isn't charging whatsoever. Look where Chimera stops skating -- in the slot. That is a good 30 feet from the end boards. If that is charging, how does anyone effectively fore check anymore? Leisurely skate after the puck? Had Chimera continued to move his feet all the way up to nailing McQuaid then it would be charging. Reminds me of when Julien said Salo took a run at Marchand. Either Claude is a biased fat pig or he doesn't know what 'taking a run' means.

Easily is charging. Skated from the freakin neutral zone at full speed. McQuaid was stupid for turning, but that is a charge.

It's not charging. Chimera stops skating well before contact. If he continued to make strides up to hitting him, then that's charging

McQuaid turned at the last second. Didn't deserve to be kicked out the game but a definite penalty because of the amount of strides he took before the hit.
