  • Hello, I'm using the weight cause I can't do it with my own bodyweight.

  • Good idea...and I'm sure effective, but I think the goal is to hit the point of failure which you can't do when using the assistance of the cable and weight.

  • I agree when you say that I most go deeper BUT, when you can't go deeper in the beginning.. I think this is a perfect way to start with it and get used to it.

  • Yeah it's a great excersize, i've read about it on a dutch bodybuilding forum!

  • hey man doing it with a pulldown rope to remove bodyweight is an AWESOME idea! I"ve been doing these for months and never thought to do it like that! God I love youtube!

  • Put a bench in front of you.  Slowly lower yourself towards the bench. Push off the bench if you must.
