The answer is 3.3
SUM(x-7) to the 2nd = 54
54 divided by 5 = 10.8
Square root of 10.8? = 3.28, (3.3)

Thanks...I was kinda lost on the baseball problem but I did get the 3.3 for the standard deviation problem...I feel good because I've been out of high school for like 15 yrs and though I was pretty rusty in Maths...Thanks again...

standard deviation is 2.84 on the last problem. And you got 15 b/c you said the difference between 13-7 is 7, and its 6.

completely lost me on the baseball basketball tryout one.... pretty sure the question was what is the probability that he will try out for basketball.. you have 2 choices... why isnt it 50%??????????????????????????????????????????????????
