Doctor Who pinball - Full gameplay with DMD

This video shows a game of pinball on Bally's Doctor Who. Some cuts were made to get the video under 10 minutes. This is not a perfect game by far but it shows most of the gameplay elements.

Strategy: Instead of going straight to multiball I tend to go for the videomodes first. So in short my ideal game would look something like this:
- Select Doctor 1
- Activate Videomode
- Lock 1 ball, which lets you reselect a doctor
- Select Doctor 6
- Get playfield multiplier to 4X
- Start videomode
- Finish all videomodes up to wave 4, which includes a ~100 million bonus
- Lock 2nd ball, by now you have earned Doctor 6 for good (through videomodes), so switch to Doctor 3 or 7
- Shoot W-H-O's for extra ball(s), do some Sonic Boom's and start multiball.

I can't believe it's been 20 years since I worked on this game. I was the best and worst 6 months of my life. But I was Doctor and I love the show then and I still love it now. If I was asked again to work on another Doctor Who project like this I would say Yes!! even with all the problems with the game.

I worked with the design team with Bill Pfutz, and with the marketing team with Roger Sharpe once the game was done we took it to a Chicago Doctor Convention. Our main problem with the games was the moving game field for the Daleks it sometimes didn't work properly. Also on the game field we originally had Anthony Ansile as Master but had to change it to Roger Delgato because contract problems had to change the artwork to please the BBC and some of the actors

This game is shallow. It has poor artwork. Some would say they don't care for the sound. I haven't even SEEN the show....

And yet, I love the hell out of this pin. I really love it to death, and I just don't know why!! Great vid. :)
