I agree, there isn't an embedded normal income tax in goods. But there is an embedded payroll tax (social security and medicare) of 7.65% that the employer pays for the employee.

Yes, written by a radio talk jock, Some book. Sounds like a handyman's book.

Outstanding! This articulates perfectly why I support the FairTax. A tax concept whose time has come.

LOL, you FTannies are hilarious, always pointing people to a book by a radio DJ which is FULL OF MISTAKES, many of them math mistakes, and this has been shown time and time again. The book is innacurate and full of falsehoods, and the 22Million$ of research it proclaims clearly states that this foolish tax would on average raise the taxes of those who make $15000 to $150,000 and lower the taxes of those who make more. Tinyrul 593htl, page 30 on, fairtax org's own site.

LOL, what exactly do you think they mean by "embedded taxes" that would be replaced by the foolish "Fair" Tax. Go read and understand, and then you can come back and apologize when you see your mistake.

READ the damn book before assuming you know what it says. the book is cheap and easy to read and lays out everything.

there is no such thing as "embedded income taxes", not sure what brain cell you are using for this argument, but, there is NO mention of an embedded INCOME tax being built into any product or service, READ the book, then make a cognitive argument.....

Before some FT/NASTI fans get more confused: what I am saying here is with respect to business economics-- with respect to businesses cost of goods-- there is no such thing as "embedded income taxes", only embedded wages, because the business CANNOT KNOW what amount of wages it pays is paid in by employees as income taxes, because some employees will get a refund and yet others will have to pay more in. What is important to the business is WAGES PAID, that is their known cost.
