@CARBONHAWK1 also porsche name is apealing but for carrera money you can get a maserati and maybe one year old aston which has way more appeal on street and to people than porsche so it's not that oh look at me. Even more get a used f430 for 100 grand which has way more appeal than any of these cars but porsche is just the right car which why it sells so well and quite common. BTW I'm not that rich I just try to use my money wisely, it can go far. I respect your opinion.

@CARBONHAWK1 first off carrera is in totally different league by performance, feel, history, luxury, name. If I couldnt buy a new porsche but could buy 370z money I would rather get a used porsche which would still be faster and better than 370z. I would lie if I said that the badge doesn't matter but for everyday I drive japenese car not mercedes or bmw for reason like reliability, bang for the money and low profile. I respect gtr and 370z but it doesn't make me happy like porsche does.

@vvysoc And what, always being dogmatic, ok good for the rich people: yea to show off, but what about the Not-so-rich people, what are they going to buy? a Carrera? A car that barley potrays better performance and looks respectivley to a 370z which is to me good looking and and cheaper. Your arguement clearly states that you are adhere to the badge. The GTR is the decendent of the Skyline which was a car with a lot of character and almost no one hated it. Concieve that GTR Badge.

@CARBONHAWK1 haha...gtr lovers! I love how they keep fighting over performance. Porsche and nissan are very different cars. I do like the fact because of the competition both car makers are raising the bar but rich people will buy a 911 over nissan and the sales show just that. Also owning a gtr is actually a lot more expensive to keep than a 911, a lot more heavier than 911, the performance unusable, and gtr has no character. I would get a new 911 991 c2s over gtr. my 2 cents
