"Prohibition goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded." ~ Abraham Lincoln December, 1840

What about growing my own...I dont want to have to go to the FDA to grow my own. I dont have to do that for my vegetables, and fruit.

@mrabuckten Dude, you're wrong. Cops only enforce the laws that POLITICIANS make. Our elected officials are the ones who instituted this asinine war on drugs. To be specific, it was Richard Nixon who declared it and then others just followed his lead when they saw how much money they could rake in by continuing it.
Your anger at the situation is understandable but it's misplaced. Get mad at the right people, be a do-gooder yourself, and work to change it. Blind hate only hurts the cause.

@mrabuckten I will agree, pigs are fucked up. But pigs are the law enforcement who hurt people, law enforcement who protect people are just plain law enforcement. I have my problems with cops, but logically speaking, I can't view any group as 100 percent 1 way or the other, it makes no sense. Besides, if your going 2 blame anybody for law enforcement fucking the lives of people who use drugs, blame financial institutions and the CIA who benifit from drugs being illegal and people going to prison

@mrabuckten your emotion is blinding your logic. I understand where you are coming from in your emotion, but no group is 100 percent 1 way or the other. Not even N.W.A. who put out "Fuck the Police" would say 100 percent of cops are bad. They say most, but not all. This group is a perfect opportunity to end new age slavery and the other negatives that this drug war causes. Be logical and strategic and work with who ever to end this immoral policy, even if they are law enforcement.

@mrabuckten Yup, and that's why they are better and deserve more respect than you. They have realized that there is a better method then the one we have in place and that they were part of. They see the error and are trying to make a change.

That's kinda a self fulfilling prophecy, isn't it? It sure won't happen as long as lots of people have that attitude.
