  • Don't you talk trash about Ronco!

  • You people are abviously not that old. You're missing the point, these products were made to sell, not to actually work! Ronco and K-tel would TV advertise this tat at Xmas , and we'd buy it by the shed-load. Google the K-tel "Bottle Cutter Kit - commercial, the buttoneeer, and you'll see more of thsi kind of thing. Finest quality cr@p! And very collectible by sad 40 soemthing idiots like me! I miss thise ads. It wa part of Xmas then. I wanted a K-tel "E-Z Tracer" as kid. Still do. Happy days.

  • I believe this is a British commercial for the Record Vaccuum. K-Tel products were worldwide at that time.

  • I had one. That thing SO didn't work. Typical Ronco piece of shit.

  • My mother told me that their marriage wouldn't have ended in divorce is Dad hadn't kept buying her presents from Ronco! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha...

  • OHHH I wish I still had MINE! It worked GREAT! I thought mine was made by K-Tel, tho! ?? This 1 appears British??

  • @TEMPmichaelhansen They especially sold this in Woolworth's in the UK, and also "from the TV - free call!"

  • Yes, and after you vacuumed your records, you could use your Ronco record rack and have it automatically go to the empty spot to "reindex the record".

  • Available at most leading boot fairs and charity shops near you!

  • too bad i wasn't born back then but sounds handy (at the time) or for owners today :D

Wonder if it would work for CD's... (No)

  • i also read the dust went back into the grooves and were 'ground' in

where is the other commercial where the guy throws confetti on the records to demonstrate static cling?
