@Bagrah10 if they had worked in tandem, then their relationship would have worked. if you've read "the pardoner's tale" you would get this plot. Nikki and paulo both stole the diamonds, but one was hiding from the other. Paulo actually liked her, and she was only focused on the diamonds. He only wanted to hide them because he feared she would leave him, but how can you leave a person when you're on an island?

Is it ironic that I saw both of these actors in different movies in one day. She has a cameo in "mr. magorium's wonder imporium", and he played in "Charlie's angels- full throtle"

It's ironic that if Nikki had collapsed right where she was, the paralysis would have simply worn off. They'd come to their senses and be fine. The act of looking for help cursed them to the most gruesome death in Lost history.

Why is this video still up? Not only do you have to be deaf not to hear it, but the producers confirmed the monster manifested into the medusa spiders long ago.

Actually Paulo was bitten by a real spider but the smoke monster manifested into the swarm of spiders that bit Nikki. Even though they weren't real spiders they still had the same effect and Nikki was paralyzed. Then they were both buried alive. So yeah the smoke monster did turn into the spiders.....LOST owned!!!!!
