Hey, can i import midi files in cake walk and use my roland xv2020?

I want to use cake walk as a sequencer and use roland as sound source.

Your help will be appreciated .

@brian2482 you need to download the instrument definition file for the xv2020 google search for "roland xv2020 cakwalk .ins file" it should be there (I can't post the URL on here unfortunately)

then its just a case of importing the file into cakewalk so you can browse the patch list and assign the patches to different midi channels to create the music - very straightforward - hope this helps :-)
