Returning from a hike through Spain, I pondered what to do with the hundreds of photos and shaky video footage I'd taken. What resulted was this short documentary of the sites and people I met along the Camino de Santiago. Part 1 follows my journey from London to the city of Pamplona along the Camino Frances.

  • Great video, very inspirational... Trying to plan a Camino for this year Oct/Nov, thanks for the video!!

  • @ramineb Thanks very much for watching. October is a great time to go - I'm doing a small week's hike in Tasmania over Easter, so hopefully another video will follow. Best of luck on your Camino - you'll love it.

  • Thank you for putting so much time and effort to share your Camino experience with the world! It brought back so many fond memories (I walked the Camino May 2006) and great expectations, as I will be back there in May 2012!

    Ultreya et Suseya, peregrino!...

  • @giovannitestore Thankyou for watching, and thankyou for your kind message. Fantastic to hear you will be back there next year. Safe travels :)

  • Cracking stuff mate. I'm embarking on the trek in the spring. Had enough of london myself. The place and the people are doing my head in. Hopefully the walk will clear my head. I can't wait!

  • @aj579935 Yeah - I love London, but it can be crazy busy ... so the solitude of a 800km walk seemed to help. Have a great Camino mate .... weather should be brilliant.

  • @devotionofunion And thanks for watching and sharing your own story :)

  • Thank you, awesome stuff. Brings back great memories and hope for this year's Camino. The thing that makes it for me is the camaraderie, the new people, the shared adventure, the grandness of it all. The walking is meditative and the prayer just expands your heart. After the Camino I am a better man. Thank you again.

  • I swear I saw exactly that same horse leaving Burgete! Great videos, they bring back so many memories!

  • I walked this way for the third time last year 2010..completing it 3 times now.

Next week (april 18th) i start walking the 750 miles of 'via de la plata' from Sevilla to Santiago.
