  • Hi I'm studying architecture and I was wondering if you had any tips or tricks to draw straight lines with equal weight.

  • It is relatively simple - just slowly rotate your pencil as to DRAW-PULL it along.

    Never "push" the pencil.

This technique also keeps a point on the lead which reduces sharpening it and also assists in creating that consistent line as it is always the same diameter/taper.

This requires a steady hand and CONFIDENCE but you need to practice a little - you can do it.

    Cheers, and happy drawing.

    Ron
