The song used in this video is No Intention by The Dirty Projectors. I just really liked the song and I found it fits the Liir nicely. As you can see, I severely out-tech the enemies encountered in the video; I didn't want a hard game as I was just testing out the different weapons (emitters are amazing against destroyer swarms).

Thanks for the advice! I actually haven't plyaed sword of the stars in a long time. I really want to play SOTS2 when it comes out (as long as it's good).

Ever heard of tactical maneuvering? Crossing the T? I know you had overwhelming odds there, but that cruiser at the front of your pack took far more damage than it should have done in that situation.
Also, if you’re going to be forward firing, it’s usually best to set your rear weapons to missiles (they can fire when pointing away from the enemy) so you can reach your maximum damage potential.
