@literallarry2011 Rap is booming in society because it takes massive skill to do it and people realize that. If you listen to a true rapper rap it is not just about money and violence the way they twist words and make you think is ridiculous. You can even find country rappers now. Youtube it.

@literallarry2011 Thats why good rappers don't just talk about money and cars. In the beginning rap was all about the struggle of living in poverty. Also... Rap is the MOST POPULAR form of music, so say what you want but a lot more people like rap then anything else... you lose.
