@jaimelex I had that "rare form of leukemia" Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia and was treated with intravenous arsenic for months. I tolerated it very well except the last two weeks when it gave me bad colic and nausea. But I took a genetic amplification test recently a year after treatmen andt it showed I was free of even minute traces of leukemia genes. Along with the vitamin A metapolite ATRA it has changed APL from the deadliest form of leukemia to the most curable.

My nana is the sweetest, most amazing person in the entire world. She is the type who goes and picks up a hundred sandwiches and drives them around to homeless people in the city. Recently our family was devastated to find out that she had Multiple Myeloma, and it makes me so sad to know that this has only been viewed 38 times! Please help stop this awful, painful experience for families just like mine by donating to this foundation and spread the word about this terribly awful cancer.
