I have shingles. I had it draining for 62 hours. Unfortunately it wasn't finished so I had to open it back up. I pulled the plug, it was very painful but it felt soooo good when it was done.

Keep in mind I'm working with my hands behind my back, looking at a monitor while leaning forward, balanced on the edge of the chair. When you get it you can do it your way, I'll do it the right way. I feel for you. That had to be painful but a big relief when it was done. Too bad you didn't have a trusted friend or family member who would risk shingles to help you do what had to be done in a less painful way. Sorry you had to go it alone :-(
