Wether a corset or a bullet proof vest. So what? Elvis was ill. He couldnt help it being fat. He was a good human being, and an excellent singer and entertainer. And he was not that fat! Compared with earlier years okay, but in general he wasnt that fat. But whatever. You dont talk to The King like that. He was, he is and he will always be the King of rock n roll!

And one more thing. Elvis was 42. I am 38. And I practise sports a lot, pay attention to what I eat and even then its difficult to stay in shape. I manage, but it takes a lot of effort. Its normal that you gain some weight growing older. Wait until you are 42 yourself. And then compare yourself with the great Elvis Presley. The one and only King of rock and roll

Elvis' step-brother Rick cleared this up years ago. I'm surprised people are still talking about the weight issue. He had a thyroid condition just like Jerry Lewis had. The medication he was on caused him to balloon up just like Jerry did. As so as Mr. Lewis was taken of the medication you noticed how he went back to normal. The day Elvis passed he was scheduled to start back on the road again. The medication had been reduced and he was looking good. He was working our daily and he seemed fit.

Its the inside that counts and every body who met him only had nice words to say about him. He was a very warm and caring person! It was not easy for him to carry that image and pressure every day! I admire him a lot. The last years must have been terrible for him. My respect for him as a fantastic personality!

Elvis did not physically die in 1977, either. He says it was not a hoax and he did put "Elvis" to rest that day, so I won't call it a hoax or a fake death either ... but, the physical man left for Buenos Aires just after he "died". He stayed there for a little while, then went to Germany, then to other places, and had a lot of plastic surgery. Then he returned to US.

I won't say who he is now. But you'll know someday.

I've lost 120 pounds recently, and my body is still far from perfect (a clump of loose skin, lines and wrinkles on my face, uneven body because I was fat prior to puberty so my rib cage grew to fit my fat body, so now I have this huge rib cage sticking out and it's gross).

And it's been Hell to get where I am.

It would have killed Elvis ages before August '77 if he had gone on a strict diet and exercise routine. He'd be hungry, depressed even more, and exhausted even more

As I was saying, Elvis was a fat over rated scumbag who molested his future wife while she was a child. He was a druggie who died on a toilet trying to pass a 60 LB turd! Most of it was fluid retention.

This man had to LIVE UP TO AN IMAGE NO HUMAN BEING HAD EVER BEEN EXPECTED TO LIVE UP TO. GET OVER IT!!!
