Sandor Szabo, wrestling in this match, was/would be a regionally-recognized world's heavyweight champion. At the time this mud-show was filmed, circa-1938, he was in his prime, but box-office grosses were depressed at the time, and such gimmick matches were being presented as oddities to draw paying customers. (Yohe Press privately published a superb history/record-book of Szabo, whose career justified it.)
