While I agree with comments at this film re violence and women, I don't agree that this film is bad in anyway. It simply is the same old same old stuff; but that is what the fans seem to want, so I don't see the issue, the film is disturbing and good.

Giallo è un buon film,ma oramai parlare male di Argento è diventato uno sport nazionale. La cosa strana è che leggo molti commenti entusiasti in inglese e solo critiche in italiano...

@nonballs sorry I totally disagree, just my view, The Card Player for example, second time I watch it loved it far better than anything like CSI. It's just my view, Deep Red, Opera, Stendal, all good, again each to their own. BTW I have Mother of Tears on DVD and have not watched it yet so thanks for reminder.

they live in the past because that's where Argento's good movies rest. I dare you to look at Mother of Tears and say its as good as Suspiria or Inferno. Card Player and Sleepless as good as Tenebrae or Bird with the Crystal Plumage.

I will never understand why prissy fussy narrow minded Argento fans live in the past. Suspira, Deep Red and Inferno were classics. Yet I have even enjoyed The Card Player and Phantom of the Opera. Argento still has it and I look forward to seeing Giallo. Pffft@fans and critics who criticise his later work.
