I was there at the concert. It was a really great moment. Joe had a great sound, Scott was also great though he was having a bad day, CL was as always and so were the other two Joe's album is much better speaking of improv but in this night that was not the point. Five of the greatest trombonists living in earth today adjusted their schedules to fly into Tokyo and get together and play in one 'band', taking turns on the solos and the leads, although Joe ended up leading the most part.

Now THAT is some smooth trombone work. Simply amazing. Very beautiful and swingin'.
