It's funny that Jesse Jackson protested this particular Oscar ceremony because no black performer was nominated and asked African-Americans not to watch it. Despite the fact Quincy Jones produced it, Whoopi hosted, Sidney Poitier presented Best Picture and a whole of bunch of African Americans including Savion Glover (who performed a tribute to Gene Kelly) and these guys performed!
