thank you jerry for all the wonderful gifts you gave me. one year after the tragic death of our jerry my daughter annmarie cassidy garcia was born 8-9-96 the three years following my awesome son Jerry Garcia was born thank you for showng me the way, you changed me more than you can imagine 16 years later and i am still grateful love you thank you

I remember Tommy Chong on a tape I had when I was a kid and he said "I'm not into time" and years later that struck me as a fine foundation for a philosophy yet unnamed to my restless ears and wandering mind. It was no less profound or important than those of the masters. Time sucks and I wish I could have banked some of it so that when the low goes low at least I got somewhere to go. Rest in peace all the Deadest of the Dead. Time will follow.

So many memories, so many roads and so many shows. I miss going to see Jerry and the dead. Dancin and shakin my bones. There will never be another band that gives that complete feeling of happiness like the Dead is for so many years.
