I remember Tommy Chong on a tape I had when I was a kid and he said "I'm not into time" and years later that struck me as a fine foundation for a philosophy yet unnamed to my restless ears and wandering mind. It was no less profound or important than those of the masters. Time sucks and I wish I could have banked some of it so that when the low goes low at least I got somewhere to go. Rest in peace all the Deadest of the Dead. Time will follow.

This is the last song I ever heard Jerry play live. I wish I would've taken it heart a little more. I always thought there'd be one more show.
"This could be the last time; I don't know. . .I don't know"
So many memories, so many roads and so many shows. I miss going to see Jerry and the dead. Dancin and shakin my bones. There will never be another band that gives that complete feeling of happiness like the Dead is for so many years.
RIP Jerry

16 years ago today, the Greatest story ever told hit it's last page, and well ran dry. But through all these years and forever after, The music will NEVER stop. Rest in Peace Jerry...
