Hi kayzeaza,
Basically yes, urban legends are all similar in terms of how they originate and how they develop.
Its funny that you mention Indian burial grounds. I've heard that plenty of times from people my age LOL
Learning about them is not a bad hobby and it sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders.
God bless you bro.

Urban Myths are all the same. I remember kids telling stories on the playground that our school had been built on an Indian Burial ground and that their ghosts haunted the school. I like learning about them though...

@OCPRS yeah hopefully i go soon to confirm that lol

Im not a believer, but ur "proof" that the girl people have described is around 8or9 while Selina was 15 is by no means ironclad. I have seen 9 yr olds that can easily pass as 15. When u consider that its a "ghost" form, how accurate can any1 guess the ghosts age, in the dark no less? Also, is it not possible that the power lines could cause enough interference to not give u an accurate reading on another source? I do think its rumors & hearsay, but u need better proof to debunk this. no FLIR?

Hi jiggs416
I would like point out that the evidence presented here in this video and the articles on our blog is not limited to the age of the apparition in question. In fact, the investigation we conducted yeilded no preternatural/supernatural phenomena. What was identified were some naturally (although man-made) EMF that some people have mistaken for paranormal evidence. The "legends" surrounding Kirby Rd. are also non-existent until after Selina's tragedy. Please visit our blog.

@OCPRS And i would like to point out that people "saw" a girl AFTER the accident, forget the other "legends", this is the report you have failed to debunk. It would be extremely naive to think that this appartion would appear just because you are investigating.

@jiggs416
Having conducted an investigation to verify such a sighting, our evidence did not validate the claims made by various people who have publicly reported a little girl thought to be Selina. And yes, the problem between the ages described do conflict with the fact that the real Selina was not 9 years old. As for the "proof" that people saw a little girl, there is none (only what people claim to have seen). Besides, the "little girl" is often associated to the urban legends.

tbh you can't use a device to find out if there is a ghost around. i think ghosts are images that only one person can see and it happens in the mind.

@oleksiy1000
What device was used to "detect ghosts"? The EMF meter was used to demonstrate that the EMF in that area is owed to power lines. As for your opinion, that is interesting and common in many descriptions of "ghost" phenomena. Unfortunately, it is not universal and therefore can not define "ghost" phenomena exclusively.
